CR has issued a prediction for PMA 2009, based on the rumors that they have received. PMA starts in about 3 weeks at the beginning of March, although a release of something is expected next week on February 17th/18th.
According to CR, a new Canon EF 24-70 f2.8L II IS Lens is possible:
"Possibly the most sought after lens Canonites are lusting after. Match Nikon's optics and add IS? You’d have a massive sales success. It almost wouldn't matter what it cost.
Again, this is their prediction based on rumors they have received.
