Nikon D400 Rumor: Thom Hogan Prediction

After the recent and likely fictional Nikon Roadmap Leak (see Nikon Roadmap in our forums for the full translation), Thom Hogan has put together his speculated "Possible Nikon Roadmap".

Note Thom does have good sources, and a pretty good track record when it comes to predicting Nikon products, so his version of the roadmap is probably best described as "educated speculation".

Thom speculates mid 2011 for the Nikon D400 release. He expects:

New technologies spawned by the D4 design group passed to DX

Review:
I disagree with Tom, as has been now a second announcement for a book about the D400. The first was, some time ago at amazon.de, for a book of the publisher "Markt & Technik".

The second was just some days ago a anothe online book vendor:

The book shall be released approx. in August 2009, I personally guess that this is the same book which was announced at amazon.de and therefore I think a D400 release in August/September 2009 is possible.
