With the mid range DSLR lineup from Canon believed to be on a 12 month release cycle (Canon EOS 40D was released in August 2007, and the Canon EOS 50D in August 2008), it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect the Canon EOS 60D to arrive in August 2009.
Given complaints about the 50D, more megapixels are unlikely unless they go with a larger sensor. However with the cheaper Nikon D90 having Video, putting HD Video onto the Canon EOS 60D would be a fairly safe bet.

According to CanonRumors, Canon are rethinking the XXD line due to the poor reception of the Canon 50D. They are speculating that a new AF system is being developed, with more AF points, plus weather-sealing may be added. Movie Mode is almost certain, and WiFi/GPS are being discussed.
